Stockholm cocktail bar Lucy’s Flower Shop and the amazing restaurant Tjoget have both made it onto this year’s The World’s 50 Best Bars Of 2021 list. Both are very well respected businesses in the city, but it’s so pleasing to see them recognised worldwide for their unbelievable cocktails and highly skilled staff.
Lucy’s Flower Shop
Ranking 35th in the world is Lucy’s Flower Shop. This place is incredible. Located within an empty flower shop in Stureplan, you would never have guessed that there’s a cocktail bar hidden through a door somewhere at the back of the shop. In 2020 it won the Gulddraken award for best bar in Stockholm and it was also named the best bar in the Nordics by Difford’s Guide. So, it’s no surprise that this place ranks amongst the best bars in the world.
Here they serve stunning, innovative cocktails. There are no tiny umbrellas or cocktail sticks in sight, it’s just flavours blended perfectly to create a taste unique to Lucy’s Flower Shop, and staff who really, really know what they’re doing. You can find this amazing place at Birger Jarlsgatan 20, 114 34 and book a table via the website.
Tjoget
In the lovely Hornstull neighbourhood of Stockholm, you can find an amazing restaurant serving food with Middle Eastern and Southern European flavours. Oh… and it’s also one of the best cocktail bars in the world!
There’s nothing fussy about the restaurant itself. Walk through those doors and you’ll find sleek metal tables and understated decor because here the food really speaks for itself. Colourful, vibrant, and yummy as hell, the dishes here are a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach, and we haven’t even mentioned the cocktails yet.
Tjoget’s team of mixologists really know their flavours and create some absolute masterpieces which pair perfectly with the delicious food. A focus on seasonal flavours gives these cocktails flair and keeps people coming back for more. Head to Hornsbruksgatan 24, 117 34 and you’ll find this fantastic place, but you might want to book a table on the website first!
